Customer License (Personal Use)- When you buy a Sew Free Co. digital product, you’re purchasing a personal, non‑transferable license to use the content yourself. You do not own the intellectual property and may not share, resell, or publish our files.

2.1 Grant of License

Sew Free Co. ("we/us/ our") grants the purchaser ("you") a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to:

• Make physical items for personal use or gifts using our patterns/tutorials.

2.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Share, post, stream, upload, email, or otherwise distribute the files or any portion thereof.

• Resell, sublicense, or include the files in any product, bundle, course, membership, or library.

• Recreate, remix, trace, convert, or reverse engineer our patterns or videos to create derivative or competing products.

• Use commercially (e.g., sell items made from our patterns, sell workshops using our materials) without a separate commercial license from Sew Free Co.

2.3 Ownership & IP

• All content is copyright © Sew Free Co. and protected by U.S. and international laws.

• No rights are granted except as expressly stated in this license.

2.4 Accounts, Access & Security

• Keep your download links and account secure. Do not share credentials.

• We may use reasonable technical measures (e.g., watermarks, limited downloads) to protect our content.

2.5 Refunds & Exchanges (Digital Goods)

• All sales of digital products are final. Because files are delivered instantly, we do not accept refunds or exchanges except where required by law. If you experience a technical issue, contact us within 7 days of purchase.

2.6 Course Community & Conduct (if applicable)

• Be kind and respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or piracy.

• We may remove access for violations without refund.

2.7 Updates & Availability

2.10 Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑law provisions. Venue and jurisdiction shall lie in competent courts located in North Carolina.

2.11 Changes to These Terms

• We may update these terms. The latest version will be posted on our website with a new Effective date.

3) Optional: Commercial Add‑On License (Summary)

Use this if you plan to offer an upsell for makers who want to sell finished items. Keep as a separate product with clear terms.

Grant: Limited, non‑exclusive right for one individual to sell up to {{unlimited}} finished items per year made using the specified Sew Free Co. pattern(s). No classroom, factory, mass production, or teaching rights.

Attribution: Product listing must include: “Made using a Sew Free Co. pattern. Used with permission.”

No File Sharing: License does not allow sharing, reselling, or uploading any files.
